"We purchased our Valor L1 gas fireplace at H&H. The reason for my review is to thanks and attest to the excellent customer service I received. An electrical issue caused the fan in the fireplace to malfunction. Even though H&H didn't install the fireplace, they coordinated with the installer and even sent their own technician to diagnose the issue. The issue was resolved but more importantly H&H and Teresa stood behind the product and assured me that the issue would be fixed and it was. "I recently began searching for help replacing my old (polluting) wood fireplace insert with a propane fireplace insert. Over the last several months I have talked with a number of fireplace stores in the bay area. Many of these companies seem poorly run, won’t come out to west marin, or if they will, add extra fees. Several of the stove companies never showed up for appointments made at my house, were vague about pricing, and were most unclear about what ancillary help I would need for electrical and gas connections and fittings. I finally happened upon Hearth and Home of Marin, a family owned fireplace and stove company. The owner arrived on time for our agreed house appointment, measured my fireplace, discussed options and costs with me. His workers always arrived on time, were polite, knowledgable, and neat and installed my stove without difficulty. After installation the stove burners needed readjustment which the company performed promptly and free of charge.
