Common questions
Should I get a gas fireplace or a gas insert?
A gas fireplace is built into the wall for new construction or a full remodel. A gas insert goes into an existing wood-burning fireplace. See our Mendota gas inserts if you’re updating a fireplace you already have.
Will my Mendota work during a power outage?
Yes. Mendota units we install come with a battery backup pack. See our FAQ for details.
Do you install Mendota fireplaces?
Yes. Our own licensed and insured crews install what we sell throughout Marin County.
