Can I use my Valor during a power outage?

Yes, all Valor fireplaces and inserts operate off of batteries and can be used as usual.
Note: if you have a fan on a Valor insert G3.5 or G4 you may have to add four AA’s to the battery pack by the receiver, on the left side of the unit (see instruction manual).


How do I replace the batteries for my Valor?

Can I use my Mendota during a power outage?

Yes, you received a battery pack with your installation. You will need to find it and refer to your installation manual on how to use it. If you need it, please click here to find the installation manual for your unit. You will want to refer to “Backup DC Power” in the index. The below picture is for a FV33.
